We are a real-estate agency with roots in Amsterdam. We serve a wide variety of clients in and around the city with professional advice and project management – both for new-builds and for renovations.

First and foremost, the goal of Elm House is to realize houses and housing for the residents of Amsterdam. The elm tree stands for our deeply felt connection to this city.

Amsterdam and the elm tree have lived in harmony for centuries. The elm is a force unto itself: it flourishes in many types of soil, it fairs equally well during cold snaps and waves of summer drought, and it can withstand a bump or scrape along the way. That’s why it’s perfectly at home in the city of Amsterdam. The elm, this sacred tree of Mother Earth, was also used to craft all kinds of tools, ropes, mats, footwear, and building material, as the city evolved.
